Have you ever had that friend that you knew from birth and for some reason or another ya'll lost touch? Mine is Nichole Bufton(Niki). I became friends with her when I was not even 3 and I don't think she was even 1. We remained best friends until I moved to Tennessee when I was about 6. Even after moving away, and then moving down to Florida, we kept in touch. My family moved back to Texas when I was in the fourth grade, and to the same town her family lived. So just like we had never dropped off we were best friends again. Now she has always been the type to always try to make whoever she's around accept her. That has a tendency to make someone act incredibly snobby, and be a real bitch. So when my parents first separated and my mom moved me and my brother up to Denton, we rarely continued to talk. Well recently, i got a wild hair to look her up on facebook, and I found her... but because of the reason we lost contact I decided not to message her. I had mentioned to my mom that I had found her online, and that motivated my mom to try and get in touch with her mom, who she had also lost touch with. My mom found her mom on myspace, and now they are making plans to hang out again. This is awesome because my mom doesn't really have any friends, at least, local, and apparently her mom is in a similar position. When my mom told me about this I decided to go ahead and message Niki through myspace, not even thinking that she would even remember me. She messaged me back, seemed actually happy to hear from me, and sent me the friend request. Its really cool when you manage to get back in touch with your oldest friend, and find out that the dreams they had talked about since they were a toddler are coming true. I found out that she is living out in California, married, with a lil baby girl, has gone to school for cosmetology, has lots of tattoos, and has realized that she was a real bitch there for a while, but since the birth of her daughter has sweetened up. |

So it's been a long couple of weeks.... trying to get through the last part of slow season at work. Definitely ready for football season, which, we apparently have wait-lists during the season. Our normally expected 50-70 bottles a week bounces up to 100+. I love being busy so I'm definitely excited about it.
Put the deposit down on the wedding the other week, and started making decisions over table/chair covers, and menu. Still need addresses from people so I can start getting invitations out. I know its out of state and a bit of a travel for most everyone, but if you would actually like to come, please SEND ME YOUR ADDRESS! or call me or email me or ask me through this to call or email you. I would really like my friends to make it out. Just look at it as a vacation as well, since it is on the beach. |

It's been a very hectic past couple months. BTW, please excuse the typos I recently got acrylic nails, which, i haven't had done since middle school, and I'm still not use to them.
Well I just got cable and internet hooked up in my apartment. I'm super excited about, of course I have to go to work tonight, so I won't get to use it until saturday. A couple of months ago I was bartending at this hole in the wall, and not making shit. So I went out to look for either a second or nother job. I was driving down this one street and I saw that this strip club was under new management. Usually new mgmt means they're hiring. I went in and applied for bartender/cocktail/door/whatever. Got hired on as a bartender with the understanding that if they needed help in other positions I'd be more than happy, as long as I'm never asked to dance. Show up for my first day, and they inform me that they had to get rid of the old VIP host, so they wanted me to take over that position. For those of you who don't know what a VIP host is, that's the person who runs all the champagne rooms and sells, as well as being the highest earning potential aside from dancing. Well it turned out that them taking over that club was a favor to a friend and they planned on selling the location. They like me so they didn't want to lose me when they sold it, so they transferred me out to the big club, that happens to be the top producing club in the state, and one of the top on the coast. So in my first 3 long nights at that club, I went from being behind and scared about bills, to looking forward to making 6-figures a year. |

So things have been starting to go better out here. Job's going well, next week is this big huge event in Myrtle Beach called Bike Week. In past years it has know to bring around 350,000 bikers into the area. So of course, being in the service industry, at a restaurant that is very well liked by bikers, it's going to be ultra busy. They'll have bands playing at lunch and dinner the entire week, extra merchandise and beer stands set up as well. I heard from one of the guys I work with that last year he made $2500 that week alone... and that the girls make a killing in comparison to the guys. So I do believe since they'll be lax on the uniform that week, I'll probably ho it up a bit. Cuz if this guy can make $2500, I should be able to make 3k. Which would be awesome since the really happy news, WE GOT INTO AN APARTMENT! It's a super nice place, 1000 sq ft, 2bd 2b, nice neighbor... in Dallas this place would easily be at least 900, but we're only gonna be paying 600. Plus we found a gorgeous living room and dining room set at Aaron's we really love. So everything is coming together. So tomorrow we're trying to get out of work a little early so we can sign papers, then either after that or wednesday we'll go to aaron's to put a deposit on the furniture and set up a delivery date, and thursday we get to sleep in which i haven't done in forever and go to an appointment at the Sea Watch Resort. Yes that is right, I do believe I will soon be sending out save the dates, since it looks like we'll be able to afford this beautiful resort we're wanting to get married at. Everything is starting to go so well, I'm floating on cloud nine. |

So I've been out here in Myrtle Beach for a month now. Things are going alright. It's really lonely, because I really don't know anyone. I have J.C. but we don't always work the same shifts, plus he likes to go next door with his dad and play music. I would join him over there, but I'm fairly sure the next door neighbor is a future sex offender. I still haven't really made any friends, I guess that's part of the downside of being shy. We did get jobs though. We're working the the Dead Dog Saloon. It's kinda cool but a lot different then what I'm use to. It also looks like we found the apartment we're gonna move into. I think once we're in our own place things will be better. It's been so stressful, and I've been very depressed. But the scenery is heaven, and I have the man I love with me. |

For the past few months, J.C. and I, have had our sites on this really cute townhouse with a private backyard. We had been getting our affairs in order, so we could get in there. Well we will not be getting the townhouse, because we'll be getting a house instead. J.C.'s bar manager has houses he owns and leases out on the side. One of the just came available, and will be ready around the same time we'll be moving out. He came up to J.C. one night at work, mentioning the house and how he couldn't think of a more perfect couple to live there, and start a new life. He's even dropping the price on it for us. Chrissy will be moving in with us, to help it be more affordable, and so she could live out on her own. This house is amazing, and beautiful. 3 bedroom, 2 bath, with a study, 2 car garage, huge private backyard, 1700 sq ft on an acre on land, in a nice community, that has a pool and a sand volleyball area.
I have an appointment with a temp-agency Monday morning. The economy is just getting so bad, I would feel more comfortable with a steady pay check. And this guy at the temp-agency, has already helped 2 friends this past week find employment, so why not give it a try.

I've had the most exciting and great week of my life. First, I get this really great job that I really wanted at 111 Forks. Then, I find out that I will be out of training early and on the floor for Valentine's Day. And to top everything off, my amazing boyfriend proposed. So now, I'm engaged and going through extensive training at the premiere steakhouse in Dallas. I love my life right now.
For those of you who don't know what 111 Forks is, it's a 4 star fine-dining steakhouse, located at North Dallas Tollway and Trinity Mills Rd. No, I have not had the pleasure of trying the most mouth watering food I have ever laid eyes on, but soon I will be reeking the benefits of others doing so. I do really enjoy working there, the people are nice and professional. It's so nice getting back into that sort of atmosphere. If any of you all end up having $70-100 laying around to blow (+TIP), definitely come see me in a couple of weeks.
Now for my happy girlie moment...
YAY! I'm engaged(as previously posted). J.C. proposed very late Sunday night. No, I don't have a ring, yet, but I'm actually kind of sort of glad about it. We'll get one once we get other affairs in order. So far, we have decided on getting married May 6th 2010, in Myrtle Beach, SC. Texas has really shitty beaches and the both of us really want a beautiful beach wedding, so that meant either east or west coast. Since most of his family lives in Myrtle Beach, or other parts of SC and GA, and most my family lives in OK and TX, not to mention the majority of our friends and family, we figured that it would be easier to get people out to the east than to the west(plus, a lot cheaper). So a small ordeal on 5-6-10 in Myrtle Beach, on the beach, and hopeful a party boat reception. |

I got a new job at 3 forks. So back to fine dining for me. And the best part of all of this is that I will be on the floor just in time for Valentine's weekend. That should be some great money. For those of you who don't know what 3 forks is, it's a 4star steakhouse, and for the past several years been ranked the premiere steakhouse in the DFW area. The average person per head is between $70-100. I'm incredibly thrilled by this because of on the off chance of only having 5 guests (people not tables) I should walk away with ATLEAST $80-100. This is going to make life so much easier.
I've been so incredibly down lately because I haven't been making any money, getting horribly behind on bills... life has just been horrible. I hate having to support on others to keep me afloat and that's exactly what I've been having to do. Thank god, that is about to change. |

so about 2 weeks ago i posted the plans that I wanted to do for my birthday.... well because I was reminded that my downstair neighbors are a bunch of ass clowns, I can't have a wine party. they like to throw fiestas til all hours of the morning, or play mexican polka around dawn load enough my floor vibrates, yet if around 10-12 o'clock at night I'm playing music load enough to hear in the kitchen(which is not far from my bedroom), they call the cops... the last time the cops came out they threatened that if they come out within the next 30 days I'm getting a citation... noise violation citations are generally around $2000. so no birthday wine party for me. JC is taking me out to see "the day the earth stood still" in imax early in the afternoon, and then a some what early dinner at my favorite restaurant. he already made the reservations for the 2 of us. so....
FOR ANYONE WANTING TO CELEBRATE MY PERSONAL HOLIDAY, I'll be heading to Vernon's Grille and Bar, probably around 9-10ish... now i only just came off of being on anti-biotics for over a month, so if you want to wish me a happy birthday while I'm still somewhat sober I advice not being mean and waiting to show up last minute. |

Hey everyone, I've already started planning what i want to do for my birthday. It's actually on a friday this year, so for everyone who normally has those school excuses, they won't work. I'm fairly sure that JC and I will be going to see a movie early in the day, going to Terrilli's for dinner(let me know if you are interested in joining), then to end the night which i would love for everyone to show up, a wine party! Now I'll be on anti-biotics until right before the big day, so I might end up being a bit of a light weight. I'll probably continue the partying the next night as well, probably hit up a couple of places in the addison area, and finish up at the houlihan's firewheel location(JC will be working). So try and keep that weekend open. |

So yeah, my decision to go on the pill has put me a serious place where I need to completely getting all new bras.... For the most part I've always been very happy having a very small frame, but when it comes to bras, it's always been a pain. It was hard enough finding a b-cup in a 32 band... and I'm a small 32, so 34's don't work. Well thanks to that little pill I'm now a d-cup, with the same but now more difficult problem of finding a size 32. So if anyone know anyone tiny enough to fit into 32b's, I have a very pretty collection I have no need for anymore. |

So I've been working myself exhausted, trying to remain as positive and happy as I can. I hate the state that my job is in, but luckly the restaurant is going through some drastic changes. I talked for a good while with one of the managers in training, that will be staying at this location, about my concerns about the restaurant and why i seem to constantly be disgruntled. He actually listened and cared about what i had to say. My main problem lately has been that the managers don't listen, or just don't care. This made me feel so much better, and eventhough tonight was so incredibly dead, I was in a great mood all night.
Oh yeah! The boy has moved in with me. This is great cuz aside from me being head over heels for him, it also helps dustin and I out a lot, financially and mentally. My mother is crazy about him too, and thinks that he just fits with our family. his birthday is in a week, so I'm trying to save up to get him a tattoo for it. And the weekend of the 18th we're going down to san antonio, for his best friend's baby shower. So he's going to take me to all these places that he likes down there, and "show me off". God, when I'm with him he treats me like I'm the most beautiful girl in the world, and sorta makes me feel like i might be. I know i'm not even close, but it's still nice. |
